I think I am stuck. I am trying almost all the correct routine with regards to proper hair growth and my hair refuse to grow. Any advice? I am a little
demotivated over this.

Are you relaxed? What is your regimen?

I'm kind of demotivated too, not b/c I haven't seen improvements but learning to "listen to what ur hair needs" is somewhat difficult to me;
when I think my hair needs more protein or moisture, I do it, but my hair is still breaking more than I'd like it to. So obviously I don't know how to
listen to my hair yet...

Use of heat appliances, hair elastics, excessive styling, winter hats, even wrapping too much can break our hair. This time of year it pays to moisturize,
moisturize, moisturize. Look at your shampoo and conditioner and hair products make sure that sodium laureryth, (sorry that is not spelled correctly) is
not one of the main ingredients. Our hair is fragile and should be treated like a delicate fine fabric. We would not wash a cashmere sweater with the same
detergent we use to wash our dishes. So we should not use products that dry out and strip our delicate hair. I am currently using WEN products from QVC.
The fig products are formulated for ethnic hair are non-drying and clean gently. These products are expensive, but a little goes a long way. There is a
cleansing conditioner that is used as a shampoo, conditioner and can be used as a leave in. The oil is for use on the hair and skin, and can also be used as a
heat protectant. The styling creme is what I use as a setting lotion when I wet set my hair. I have soft boucy curls with a lot of sheen. The WEN line may
not be what is best for your hair, but do a some of research and see what works best for you. Best wishes on your journey.
