My hair routine on Monday went like this:

First shampoo lathing I used Kuz Intensive for dry and porous hair--I think I forgot to mention this and how much I like it, but sickbay doesn't sell it anymore.

Second shampoo lathering I used Dark and Lovely Color Care--it detangles very well. IMO, it's a lil bit better than CON
I left both shampoos in my hair for at least 10-12 mins., maybe a lil longer. Oh yeah, I added a lil baking soda to the first lathering just to wash out any residue I may have had and I trimmed my ends a lil bit.

Made up and used the Fried Hair Fix recipe, which should be posted in the 'Essential Oil' recipe section. I used 2 tbsps. of the following conditioners:

VO5 Champagne Kiss--first time using this
Capilo Sole and Cinnamon---great for new growth especially when using a curling, and I would assume, flat iron.
Silicon Mix leave in conditioner
I sat under my heating cap for an hour.

Then I applied Kimberly's Leave-in conditoner, but I replaced some of the ingredients and added a few more and I got decent results. I'll post what I used as soon as I remember. After spraying this leave-in, I blowdried my hair. Hardly any hair was in my comb.

Then I applied Profectiv MegaGrowth and Fantasia IC hair lotion, let it dry and hot curled my hair and it came out very decent. I had bounce, body, and softness. I like the treatment alot.

Okay, I think I remember what I used in the leave-in:
Instead of jojoba, I used camellia seed oil--read where this oil was a 'hair industry secret'. So, I figured why not?
Added 10 drops ylang ylang eo, 5 drops sandalwood eo, and I may have added another eo, but I can't remember what it was. I also added a 1/4 of a tsp. of this mixture I made up of jojoba and clary sage.

Welcome aboard. I also color my hair and I'll experience breakage and shedding. Here are some tips I wrote down. I may have posted them in the recipe section, but I'm not sure.

Stop Hair Breakage and Shedding

1.) Give yourself condition washes every 2 days until your hair stops breaking and shedding.

2.) Massage your scalp every night.

3.) Wash hair regularly, at least twice a week. You may not need to wash your hair that much b/c your hair and/or scalp may become dry and irritated. Plus, you don't want to wash your hair too frequently in the winter months b/c that could also dry out hair and/or scalp.

4.) Do deep conditioning (even after condition washes) treatments with ORS Mayo (or regular mayo), Lekair Cholestrol, Motions CPR, Crom Emergencia, or any other deep conditioner best suited for your hair type.

Girl, you are giving me entirely too much credit. I'm sitting in front of this computer blushing as I post this. Please belive me when I tell you that I was in dire straits with my hair when I found this board. The ladies who were members at that time gave me more knowledge than anyone else, even hairdressers.
