I tried the regular strength and I liked it. Not bad at all.

There's any explanation on the differences between lye and no-lye relaxers on this board and other hair boards. I can't for the life of me remember
how it went. Darn it. But I haven't used Organic Root in awhile, I'm using Profectiv for color-treated hair now. If I'm not mistaken I believe
the lye is better than the no-lye, but don't quote me right yet. Hopefully, someone will post the real deal.

Hello, I would like to confirm that toomanygrandkids is right about the lye being considered better than the no-lye. The no-lye relaxers has been discovered to dry out the hair and the lye relaxers do not. I have medium fine texture hair and I use Mizani Hair Relaxer for fine hair. It is a lye relaxer and it leaves my hair nice and shiney and my hair doesn't dry out like it did when I use no-lye relaxers. |
