Hello all, I ran across this website and have been reading it since 8am this morning it is now 1pm. Great info and I am glad to have found it because I am
about to make a big decision. I think i have already decided but I just wanted to get some suggestions. I never had any issues with my hair, i would do it
weekly and everyone would rave about it. I was on this program that at first brought outstanding results as far as my hair was concerned. It intailed washing
2twice weekly, conditioning and air drying and using a protien treatment when needed, all this using this persons products. It worked for awhile and my hair
was wonderful and grew rapidly. Towards the end of 05 something happened and it was devasting. My hair began to break and it started to get shorter and
shorter. I did all i could from treatments, pills, you name it i think i did it. So in Feb of 07 I decided to weave my hair up give it a break and it has been
that way to this day.
I have had my hair weaved up for about a year and a half now. It has got to the point where I had my stylist cut all the perm out and it is all natural now. I am tired of the weave and am trying to decide on whether to perm or no perm. My stylist wants me to keep it in its state and have it flat ironed. It has grown so much I am amazed. I think i am leaning more toward a perm because i work out 4 to 5 days a week, intensely and am not planning on changing how I work out because of my hair. I'd rather be in good health because i had hbp and high cloesterol at 31, didn't think it could happen to me so working out and eating right(most of the time
) helps me balance
and now I do not have either issue.
What are you all's suggestion as far as perms. I will have to do a full hair perm, I have read about profectiv and it sounds like a good product. Any suggestions. Thanks
