On 11/03/2008, I made up the 'Fried Hair Fix' recipe. Here's what I used:

Trimmed my ends a bit. Washed hair w/ Kuz shampoo and added a lil baking soda. Left on hair for at least 5 mins also gently masseaged scalp and hair.

Washed again w/ Dark and Lovely Color Care poo. Let it sit for 10-15 mins. b/c for some reason I become busy with something.

Rinsed and applied the 'Fried Hair Fix' recipe. I used:

Oh, yeah. I forgot to mention that Motions has a breakage recipe where you don't wash your hair for 32 days. Every four days you condition wash your hair w/ Motions CPR. The recipe may still be posted on their website, if not, just say the word and I'll post it for you. Peace

Hi KB,
Welcome aboard. I also color my hair and I'll experience breakage and shedding. Here are some tips I wrote down. I may have posted them in the recipe section, but I'm not sure.

Stop Hair Breakage and Shedding

1.) Give yourself condition washes every 2 days until your hair stops breaking and shedding.

2.) Massage your scalp every night.

3.) Wash hair regularly, at least twice a week. You may not need to wash your hair that much b/c...

Hello Im KB, Im new to this forum and would like any and all the advice I can get when it comes to my hair.

My hair routine on Monday went like this:

First shampoo lathing I used Kuz Intensive for dry and porous hair--I think I forgot to mention this and how much I like it, but sickbay doesn't sell it anymore.

Second shampoo lathering I used Dark and Lovely Color Care--it detangles very well. IMO, it's a lil bit better than CON
I left both shampoos in my hair for at least 10-12 mins., maybe a lil longer. Oh yeah, I added a lil baking soda to the first lathering...

Hey Too Many!! How's life? Great I hope. Just wanted to let you know that I used Boe Crece Pelo (poo, cond, rinse) and the Lacio Lacio Leave-in. My hair came out sooooo silky and beautiful!!! Hi Dandio,
I haven't used any of the dominican rinses in a loooooong time. For me, they only work on a fresh relaxer and before I need a touch up. If I need a touch up nothing works on my hair. I'll use 'em when I remember I have them or I have the time. I have an avocado rinse that detangles very well. I'm trying to make a homemade leave-in conditioner out of it, but its not coming out right. BTW, acv rinses work just as good, if not better.

You can use them once a week if you want. The Crom Emergencia can be used even if you don't have damaged hair. That's what I'll be using today. And you don't have to use heat if you don't want to. But I'll sit under my hooded dryer for 30 mins. I'm gonna add some oil to it, like sesame or wheatgerm, and some essential oils. We have decided to have a special post section just for Dominican products, so that we can share and learn together on how best to use them and print out what we learn about the product so we can have it on hand for future reference...

Just include some info such as what product you have, how you use it, what it does, how it makes the hair feel....
